Albert Beck—A former university professor, Al finds and teaches thinking outside the box in everything: thought-processing, writing, music, art. A self-taught banjo player/folk singer, he was 2007 Missouri Senior Poet Laureate Runner Up. He lives in Monroe City, Missouri. Ronald Cannata—Member of the Board of Directors of Amy Kitchener's Angels Without Wings Foundation, Ron is an avid reader of everything from ancient history to poetry. He seldom writes poetry except when the Muse pays a surprise visit. He lives in Fairview, New Jersey.
Yvonne Nunn—Dean and founder of the Bardlets Online College of Poetry, Yvonne teaches poets how to write traditional forms of poetry to enter in contests and win. She was 2005 Pissonneteer of the Year and 2006 Texas Senior Poet Laureate. Yvonne lives in Hermleigh, Texas.
Wanda Sue Parrott—Co-founder and administrator of the Senior Poets Laureate Contest, is a retired journalist-turned-author/poet. Wanda is Director of Amy Kitchener's Angels Without Wings Foundation and coordinator of judges. She lives in Springfield, Missouri.
Kenneth Roller—Now retired from pastoral ministry, Ken has also enjoyed careers as a teacher and member of the communications industry. He is a member of Missouri State Poetry Society and was the 2006 National Senior Poet Laureate. He lives in Dadeville, Missouri.
Vera-Jane Goodin Schultz—Co-founder of the Senior Poets Laureate Contest and former publisher of Hodgepodge Literary Journal, Vera-Jane retired from SPL administrative duties five years ago, but continues to serve as consultant and judge. She lives in Springfield, Missouri.
Katherine Sherin-Zauner—Retired teacher and active advocate for the Muse, Katherine spent 2007 promoting poetry through readings, talks and workshops at universities, libraries and other groups as 2007 Florida Senior Poet Laureate. She lives and writes in Venice, Florida.
