CHAMBERS
In discovery of dark chambers
I bring content to light,
the private place of self-repose
laid bare in others' sight.
As magistrate adjudicate
and agitate inflamed debate.
In discovery of dark chambers
I find kindling to ignite.
In discovery of dark chambers
I expose a wilderness,
where mitral functions maladroit
achieve each moment less.
With abstinence of thought dispense
insentient malevolence;
in discovery of dark chambers
I uncover emptiness.
In discovery of dark chambers
I unclose a confined space
designed to hold a single round
of power in its place--
In discovery of dark chambers
I aim the barrel at my face.
