William I. Elliott, poet, editor, translator and educator, lives in Yokohama, Japan, where he has taught for more than twenty-five years. This award-winning poet (American Book Award and others) has over twenty books in print which include his own poetry and translations of Shuntaro Tanikawa, Japan's leading contemporary poet.

Patza, a poet, writer, and artist, living in Massachusetts, USA, has won awards for both poetry and art. Patza's art has been exhibited in Rhode Island School of Design, MIT, Northeastern U, Massachusetts College of Art, Boston State College, Cannon Office Bldg - U. S. Congress, and other venues, and worked with Artists for Survival's Save Life on Earth Campaign sponsored by the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War recipients of the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize. When Patza is not wearing her artist's hat, she is known as P.J. Roberts, Massachusetts Senior Poet Laureate, 2004-2005, and editor of SandStar Publications of Rockford, Massachusetts.
