 A non-profit literary society incorporated in the State of Missouri on July 31, 2001 by Wanda Sue Parrott, founder and sole incorporator. Application for federal tax-exempt status as a 501(3)(c) non-profit corporation is pending (see Headquarters, below).
Officers also serve as the Board of Directors. All serve on a voluntary basis and meet in person, telephonically or electronically.

Income for the corporation comes from contest entry fees, anthology sales, and contributions. There are no grants or loans from private or public institutions which support this organization.

The legal address of the headquarters of Amy Kitchener's Angels Without Wings Foundation, as registered with the Missouri Secretary of State, is the home owned by sole incorporator Wanda Sue Parrott. It is shown in the photo, and is known legally as 203 E. Washita Street, Greene County, Missouri 65807 and historically as "The Place of Weeping Waters." Pending a change of location for corporate headquarters, this address shall remain on record; however, effective March 1, 2005, the property ceased functioning as corporate headquarters. The foundation, therefore, currently has no corporate headquarters location.
